VERIFY 3D
We're in the accuracy business. We help our clients and partners decrease uncertainty, improve safety, and reduce costs through the power of 3D scanning.
WE DELIVER ACCURACY.
For any successful renovation or construction project, complete and accurate information about the site is necessary.
Whether you’re starting from scratch or making changes to an existing structure, good measurements, drawings, and models are crucial to the cost-effectiveness and timeliness of the project.
Verify 3D uses 3D laser scanning to create complete, accurate drawings and models at a fraction of the cost of other industry-standard methods.
Verify 3D LLC is owned and operated by Ryan Darling, a seasoned professional with 16 years experience performing and managing hundreds of laser scanning projects.
From deep underground mines to the decks of naval ships and complicated power plants, Ryan has delivered accurate CAD models of existing conditions to a diverse clientele.
With a proven track record in a wide range of environments, Ryan can use his high quality Leica Scanners to measure almost any structure and deliver useful products in most CAD formats.

Bravo Nashville The special circumstances of a strong economy and a forward-thinking city has delivered a significant savings to Nashville taxpayers. Contractors have declined to bid on construction projects unless verifiably accurate drawings and CAD models are available before they submit bids. They know that they can more accurately bid a job because they do not have to add time and cost to cover the risk of an unknown number of RFIs*. Verify 3D has been laser scanning schools and other buildings so that the Project Managers can offer accurate measurements to all bidders. You can read about the project in our Library. * RFI: Request for Information: A formal process for resolving construction conflicts and uncertainties.

Grandeur Renewed At the beginning of a project, much is yet unknown; many decisions have yet to be made. Drawings and CAD models of the existing structure are very useful for those decisions. So how do the managers decide what parts of a structure should be included in a CAD model? Laser scanning allows this decision to be made incrementally. Typically, Verify 3D scans a larger area, in great detail, than we’ve been asked to model. This allows the architects and engineers to get accurate CAD models, and still have completely accurate measurements for the rest of the structure. You can read about the project in our Library.

Scanning the Lake House (I suggest changing the image for the overlay to an image of the CAD model of the lake house used at the start of the original article.) An architect in his office sits three hours away from an elegant house on a northern lake. He must design modifications, upgrades, and additions to this large structure. Every time he must travel to the house he loses six to ten hours, depending on weather and road conditions. Verify 3D’s scan and model of the house let the architect take measurements of the inside of the house, the outside of the house, the surrounding land, and under the house in the crawl space. All from the architect’s desktop. In addition, the architect’s additions, added to the CAD model provided by Verify 3D, guaranteed the constructors have accurate drawings use in their work, thus saving them multiple trips to the lake.
